Tour Plan

Day 01 Arrival Cairo - Egypt

On arrival you will be met by your El Hana Travel tour manager who will escort you through customs & immigration and arrange a private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy time at your leisure.

Day 02 Cairo Pyramids of Giza & Solar Boat Museum

After breakfast at the hotel embark on a coach ride to Giza, with your Egyptologist for a tour of the Great Pyramid and enigmatic Sphinx. it is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Then enter the Khufu Boat Museum and see the Pharaoh’s painstakingly restored “Sun boat” that archaeologists unearthed beside the Great Pyramid of Khufu in 1954. Climb up on camel back for the ride of your life! Next,get entry into the Pyramid of Khefren, to the chambers where Pharaohs went to meet their Gods in the afterlife. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own, or take advantage of our optional excursions.

Day 03 The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities & Khan el Khalili bazaar

This morning enjoy a half day tour to the Egyptian Museum, where you will discover the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities, including the treasures of King Tutankhamen and the royal Mummy room, where nine mummified bodies of ancient royals are on display and learn about the culture and art of mummification in ancient Egypt. Combine fascinating history with shopping to the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar, back to hotel & overnight

Day 04 Tuna el Gebel / Akhenaton Hermopolis city

This morning you will meet up with your guide for full day trip to Minya. visit the remains of Akhenaten Hermopolis city, its Arabic name is “Ashmunien” . Proceed to Tuna el-Gebel tombs where you can visit Petosiris tomb, Ibis catacombs and Isadora tomb. Lunch at local restaurant and free evening at the hotel or you can have a walk with your guide around the downtown of the city.

Day 05 Tombs of Beni Hassan

Start your tour today to visit the tombs of Beni Hassan, where rock – cut tombs are carved into the high Limestone cliffs. The tombs date to Dynasties XII and XII. You will also visit the tombs of Bakhet, Khnumhotep, Khety tombs (middle kingdom and new kingdom), Stop for Lunch, then visit Tal el Amarna city the ancient capital of Egypt constructed by Akhenaton and ‎his wife Queen Nefertiti and visit its famous tombs of Ahmose and Huya. Back to hotel & overnight.

Day 06 Minia / Abydos
Day 07 Abydos, Dendera / Luxor

Leave Abydos to Dendera & visit the famous temple of  Hathour “The goddess of beauty”, then proceed to the world open museum “Luxor city”, check-in at hotel located in the heart of the west bank Luxor next to the King’s valley where eternity takes place & overnight.

Day 08 Visit Karnak & Luxor temples

Luxor is known as the world largest open museum, and is our base for two exciting days of exploration .This morning visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak, one of the most impressive sites in Egypt and the largest religious complex built by man with an Egyptologist-guide. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx and through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall. Next, continue and explore Luxor Temple which was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra in ancient Egyptian times. The afternoon will be at leisure.

Day 09 Valley of Kings & Queen Hatchepsut temple

After breakfast visit the West Bank and the burial ground of the Pharaohs, home to the famed Valley of the Kings and many Pharaonic tombs of the New Kingdom period. First stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, and two huge seated statues of Amenhotep III.  Touring will continue in the Valley of the Kings including the richly decorated tomb of Tutankhamen and Ramses “The sixth” “and the site of the imposing colonnaded mortuary temple of the female Pharaoh Hatchepsut. Late this afternoon, Set off on an adventure this morning as you board a traditional wooden felucca and sail along the River Nile past the beautiful cultivated scenery of Upper Egypt to an island in the Nile.

Day 10 Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan

Leave to Edfu & visit the Temple of Haroeris, rich in design, intricate in detail and ingenious in its construction, the extraordinary quality of every element attests to the paramount importance of Haroeris, one of the oldest forms of Horus the falcon-headed Sun God. then proceed to explore the unusual Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both Horus and Sobek, the Crocodile God. afterwards head to Aswan & check-in at your western lodge in the west bank of the Nile river in Aswan overlooking the best view of the nile with a Nubian taste.

Day 11 Aswan / Majestic Philae

This morning start your discovery with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s, and the granite quarries, site of the unfinished obelisk where one of Queen Hatchepsut’s obelisks lies abandoned in the bedrock, Then cross the Nile by motorboat to the well-preserved Philae temple complex, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was dismantled and moved stone-by-stone to its current location following the construction of the High Dam. Enjoy sunset as you sail aboard traditional Nile felucca around Kitchener’s Island, the Aga Khan Mausoleum and botanical gardens.

Day 12 Aswan, Abu Simbel

Leave to Abu Simbel & Enjoy your private tour of the two Temples of Abu Simbel.  For many Abu Simbel’s stunning temples are second only the Great Pyramid in their magnificence. The two twin rock temples of abu simbel were constructed and dedicated to King Ramses II and his beloved wife Queen Nefertari. In a fit of architectural wisdom, Ramses II had the entire temple carefully angled and oriented in order that the sun’s rays would align twice a year on his date of ascension to the throne (in February) and on his birthday (in October) and illuminate the inner sanctum of the temple. In the evening, you will be transferred to the Temples at Abu Simbel to see the incredible Sound and Light Show.

Day 13 Abu Simbel, Aswan / Cairo

Breakfast, then leave to Aswan with your guide in an air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan airport to catch your internal flight to Cairo, arrive Cairo & direct transfer to your hotel, rest of day free at your leisure & overnight.

Day 14 Depart Cairo

After breakfast, transfer in a private vehicle with El Hana Travel tour manager and check-in for your onward flight.
